Benefits Of Using Marine Wind Generators
|
Many of those who enjoy boating will often find the need to power a number of different electrical appliances, but when on a boat in the middle of a lake or ocean, where does one get the power that is needed? While a traditional generator can provide the electricity necessary for a number of different appliances, alternative methods are often desired that do not create carbon monoxide and require many safety precautions. Marine wind generators are quickly becoming the most popular choice for this alternative energy solution for the avid boater due to the benefits provided. A converter for boat wind generator is the ideal choice for those looking to power appliances on their boats for an extended period of time. By using this method, the boat's battery is not strained, and therefore makes it possible to return to shore as needed. Since the wind that is coming off of the water is the only energy source that is needed to create substantial power, there is no need to use excessive amounts of gasoline or propane to power the appliances. Using a marine wind generator not only creates clean energy, but there are very few safety precautions that must be taken prior to and during use. Without the worry of running out of fuel, this particular type of generator is perfect for the avid boater that spends a lot of time out on the water. Many different types of generators can be found, including Air Breeze marine wind generators, Ampair wind generators, Sunforce Air-X generators, and Windmax wind turbines. The Air Breeze Marine comes in a number of different voltages, from 12 volts to 48 volts, making this model and excellent choice for any amount of electricity needed. The main reason for the high popularity of this particular model is that it can produce energy with the lowest wind speed of any other wind generator in its class. This generator is also ultra quiet and more efficient for the avid boater's use. All wind generators that are sold for use in the marine environment include non-corrosive materials, coated fasteners, and safeties that help prevent damage in high winds and excessive moisture. A yacht wind generator can be the best solution for those needing to power their appliances in a marine environment. With many popular models to choose from, selecting the perfect option for specific requirements is easily done once the amount of power that is typically needed is determined. |

Wind DC Generators Need Excitement Too
By Gerald Moran
The road away from the electrical grid is not long nor is it littered with broken windmills or busted blades. The fried wind dc generators do not clutter the side banks of our back roads. This in itself shows that, when constructed properly, the wind towers as well as the motors and other materials used in the construction of wind turbine systems or solar energy systems are worth the time and the money. The types of motors used to produce wind energy are either (DC)direct current or (AC) alternate current.

How to Set Up an Off-Grid Home For Less Than $10,000
By Katie B. Marsh
My family and I moved to the Big Island of Hawaii and set up a temporary off-grid home on four acres so that we could live on the land while building our permanent home. The structure was 512 square feet, very cute and cozy, and it had most of the amenities of a conventional home. It was very similar to a yurt but much easier to decorate because of the linear shape. Here is how we did it:
